A directory of surviving Allihoopa Mixtape exports, artist archives, republished collections and documented shutdown-era recoveries found across the old web.
Allihoopa shut down in January 2019 after giving users a downloadable “Mixtape” of their work. Some people put those exports back online. Some rebuilt collections elsewhere. Some only left enough breadcrumbs to prove their music made it out. This is an index of what I can actually verify, not a claim to own or mirror anybody else's work.
Raw shutdown exports
The actual Mixtapes
These are the closest thing to fossils in amber: original Allihoopa Mixtape exports, or public copies retaining the export structure and metadata the service handed users before shutdown.
Original Mixtape export
DiscoMcDisco
@DiscoMcDisco
The preserved Allihoopa Mixtape export behind this archive, including catalogue metadata, audio, artwork, comments and Figure project files.
Why it counts
Original exported dump/alltihop.json and assets are retained as the archival source for the Music Archive.
Not untouched Mixtape exports, but clearly documented Allihoopa-era material that artists or collaborators deliberately republished, curated or finished after the platform disappeared.
Curated archive
The Memory Club / Duncan Butler
@The Memory Club
A hand-curated preservation of Allihoopa originals and collaborations from 2016–2018, retaining credits, stories and collaborator names.
Why it counts
Two dedicated catalogue pages explicitly document original Allihoopa material and collaborations.
A post-shutdown continuation trail: unfinished Allihoopa remix projects survived locally, were later identified and completed, then uploaded to SoundCloud.
Why it counts
The artist described the recovery process publicly in a Reason community discussion.
A surviving 'Allihoopa Time Machine' trail of Figure pieces on Freesound, alongside later BandLab uploads explicitly titled as Allihoopa Mixtapes.
Why it counts
Multiple Freesound pieces by tripjazz are labelled Allihoopa Time Machine and Made in Figure; a 2020 BandLab upload by Dmitar Jovanović is titled Allihoopa Mixtape 05.
There is credible public evidence that an artist downloaded their Allihoopa material before shutdown, but I have not found a public copy of the archive itself. These are leads, not pretend discoveries.
Known export
ILENE / Ilene Lakai
@Ilene Lakai
A documented example of an Allihoopa artist who downloaded an extensively large Mixtape before shutdown, although the export itself has not been found publicly.
Why it counts
A later biographical account explicitly records that she downloaded the Mixtape before the platform disappeared.
The shutdown scattered one community into personal sites, GitHub repositories, Bandcamp pages, SoundCloud accounts, hard drives and forgotten ZIP files. When another authentic survivor turns up, it belongs here with its provenance attached.
